Rupert has been working in the film industry for the last ten years. He completed a 3 month
director’s course at the New York Film Academy in 2001 and has since been a visual effects
producer on such films as Sahara, Harry Potter and most recently, Children of Men. He has gained
extensive experience, contacts and knowledge throughout his career while simultaneously writing
and developing ideas for features and shorts.
Mark has a background in music but also has a passion for film. Having never worked in
film before but being relatively organized and efficient he decided to help one of his oldest
friends realize his dream of becoming a director. Early in 2005 the two sat down and nailed the
script for The Postman and then set about putting the whole thing together. After a trip to
India Christmas 2005 and a legendary visit to the Hanuman Temple in Hampi, Hanuman Productions
was born.
